Ryan Jackson is the new principal of Mt. Pleasant High in Mt. Pleasant, TN. Prior to this he served as an AP at Maplewood HS. Jackson’s tenure in education has sent him as far as China to exchange leadership philosophies as part of Vanderbilt University and Metro Nashville Public Schools’ Principal Leaders Academy of Nashville. In our first podcast we dug into his Competitive Teaching Model and his identity as the UnderdogsAdvocate.

Jess Hutchinson is the principal at the amazing Avoca West Elementary School in Glenview, just north of Chicago.
This is her 4th year in the role, 6th as an administrator. There is nothing else she’d rather be doing!
Prior to being an administrator, Jess was a teacher in middle school and elementary school for 12 years. She also has experience as a literacy coach.
Jess loves to support teachers to stretch themselves to be their very best for their students.
Finally, Jess is the mom of 2, Nate and Kyra.

Eleni Theodorou is an Anti-Bullying Educator and children’s author. She holds a bachelor’s and honor’s degree in psychology from the University of Pretoria in South Africa, and a master’s degree in sports psychology from Capella University in the United States.
Born and raised in South Africa, she currently lives in the United States where she teaches children the Art of Compassion through her tales and her accompanying multi-sensory anti-bullying program called
“Noko’s Culture Of Compassion Campaign”. Her program is currently being integrated into the school curriculum by various Boards of Education in New Jersey with exciting and lasting results.
Eleni Theodorou is also a dedicated volunteer to special needs children, senior citizens, and animal shelters and is an actively involved in community-focused endeavors.

Mr Corey M. Christman serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Vethos, LLC - a Human Capital Leadership and executive strategy firm. He’s a retired Supervisory Special Agent, United States Air Force Office of Special Investigations and a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Since retiring in 2012, he’s worked within the veteran advocacy space and is currently partnered with several key leaders to raise awareness for mental/behavioral health for first responders – nationwide.
He’s a professionally trained winemaker, he works within the Finger Lakes wine region of New York State and he will be launching his own veteran/first responder focused wine label in 2017.
He’s the recipient of numerous awards for leadership, human resource management and innovation. In 2017, he completed the Executive Leadership Program, Cornell University, and he holds an MBA in entrepreneurship and BA in Criminal Justice.

Dr. Randy Watson was named Kansas Commissioner of Education by the Kansas State Board of Education in November 2014 and assumed his role in July 2015.
As the state’s chief education officer, he provides leadership to the Kansas State Department of Education in carrying out the policies and programs prescribed by the State Board of Education to ensure the necessary oversight and support is provided to assist Kansas schools, educators and students in achieving their goals.
Dr. Watson began his education career in 1981 as a high school social studies teacher in Tescott, KS. He has served as a high school principal and provided classroom instruction at the university level.
Most recently, Dr. Watson served the community of McPherson for 22 years — working as an assistant superintendent from 1993-2005 and as superintendent from 2005-2015.
A native of Coffeyville Kansas, Dr. Watson attended Kansas State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s degree in science in secondary administration, staff supervision and staff development, building level certification. Additionally, he received his doctorate of education in secondary administration, school law, curriculum development and instructional leadership, and district level certification.
The recipient of many awards, Dr. Watson was named an Alumni Fellow at Kansas State and in 2015, was honored by being named the Kansas Superintendent of the Year.
Throughout his career, Dr. Watson has been sought out by schools, districts, education organizations and others for his educational insights as well as his clear thinking around the issues and challenges facing policymakers, educators and students.
